He was predeceased by: his father Karl Ridder; his brother Karl "Butch" Ridder Jr.; his brother-in-law Bill Finch; and his grandparents, Fred Ridder, Lilly Ridder, Albert Comer and Cora Comer.
He is survived by: his mother Rheba Ridder (Comer); his wife Sharon (Cotrell); his sisters, Deanne Luckenbill (George) and Sarah Finch; his sister-in-law Linda Ridder; his children, Jeff Bertsch (Tina Murphy), Heidi Fain (Tim), Randy Ridder (Angie) and Darcy Bacher (Dave); and his grandchildren, Trevor Bertsch, Kaelyn Bertsch, Ali Fain, Colin Schwartz, Avery Ridder, Brady Ridder, Landree Bacher and Malynn Bacher.
