He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson E. "Huck" Gilbert and Martha B. Gilbert (Ward); and his daughter-in-law Jodi Lynn Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly McNeely (John) and Timothy W. Gilbert; his grandchildren, Jami Clifford (Kevin), Jessica Ault (Eli), Jared McNeely, Tymothy Gilbert (Breanna) and Garth Gilbert; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Chloe, Keegan, Franki, Oliver, August and Mason.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center (321 N Main St, Bellefontaine, OH 43311). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
