He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Bodey and Margaret Bodey (Waldren); and his siblings, Pauline Bodey, Louise Jernigan, Patricia Brown, Robert Bodey and Dicky.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Geuy; his children, Jeff Bodey (Elaine) of Urbana, Randy Bodey (Teresa Harsh) of St. Paris and Tina Underwood of Urbana; and his sister-in-law Pam Bodey. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
