She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur and Lorena Mae Lyons (Castle); her husband Brett L. Brooks; and her sister Jannette Stewart. She is survived by: her son Daniel Brett Brooks; and her siblings, James Ronald Lyons (Lisa) and Joyce Ann Lyons. She is also survived by 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
