He was predeceased by: his great-great-grandparents, Robert, Eva Duncan and Emil Davis; his grandfather Larry Shafer; his great-grandparent Robert Duncan; his grandfather Tony Sherman; his great-uncle Rodger Cordell; and his great-grandparents, Janet Anderson, George, Virginia Shafer, Lowel and Helen Howard.
He is survived by: his parents, George Shafer and Nichole Shafer (Herron); his brothers, Reese Shafer (Alyia) and Holden Shafer; his nephew Ryker Joyce; and his grandparents, Bob, Rhonda Johnson, Rex and Diann Shaner. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vernon Funeral Home (235 Miami St, Urbana, OH 43078). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
