He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Brooks and Olive Brooks (Cromwell); his daughter Vickie Queen; and his siblings, Marion Brooks, Imogene McCain and Kathryn Brugh.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brooks (Duncan); his children, Christine Casazza, Wanda Jenkins (Dennis), Lori Wallace and Robert Brooks (Tami); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Zachary, Chelsie, Olivia, Sarah, Audrey, Madeline and Crystal. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
