He is survived by: his children, William Thornton (Shelley) of Upper Sandusky, Ginger Thornton of Upper Sandusky, Debra Thornton of Upper Sandusky and Donald Thornton (Teresa) of Upper Sandusky; and his siblings, John Thornton (Neva), Paul Thornton, Mickey Thornton, Larry (Muriel) and Lucille Swinehart (Harold). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
