He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Clinger and Helen Clinger (Borland); his children, Patty Clinger, Ronald Clinger Jr. and Carla Boggs Slone; his grandsons, Tristan and Keegan Clinger; his great grandchild Eileen Gail Stutz; his siblings, Robert Clinger and Janice Kauble; and his stepmother Jean Clinger.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Clinger (Johnston); his children, Lynn Howerton (Randy) of Noel, Carl Clinger (Bonnie) of North Carolina, Dan Clinger (Darlene) of Xenia, Lisa Stutz of Marion, Brian Boggs (Holly Mikes) of LaRue and Donna Keyton of Pennsylvania; and his siblings, Joanne Griffin of Upper Sandusky and Shirley Biederman of Cardington, Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home (210 S High St, La Rue, OH 43332). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Marseilles Methodist Church (20260 Broadway St, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351).
