It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jane Coppler of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Riegle and Esther Riegle (Cludy); her husband Richard "Elmer" Coppler; her son Richard Coppler Jr.; and her siblings, Edward Riegle, Richard Riegle, Roy Riegle, Everett Riegle, Wayne Riegle and Betty Higley.
She is survived by: her children, Cheri Billings (Leland Risser) and Jeff Coppler (Kim); her grandchildren, Emily Coppler (Erica Gillum), Andrew Coppler (Sami Torres), Seth Coppler (Emilie), Zachary Logsdon, Garrett Coppler (Patience) and De Laney Salsbury; her great grandchildren, Vera, Gavin and Saige Coppler; her daughter-in-law Denise Coppler; and her brothers, Bruce Riegle (Pam), Paul Riegle (Lorrie) and Jim Riegle (Jodi).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stombaugh-Batton & Snyder Funeral Home (225 W Findlay St, Carey, OH 43316). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's honor to Dorcas Carey Public Library or to the Marion County Humane Society. Keep Mary's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
