She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor J. Hoerr and Pearl O. Hoerr (Humes); her husband John E. Thomas; her children, Carolyn Mathews and Carl Thomas; her grandson Benjamin James; and her siblings, Leonard, Ralph Hare, Neva Taylor and June Biglin.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Rhoades, Marseilles, Carla James and Chad Thomas; her son-in-law James Mathews; and her grandchildren, Jim Mathews (Misty), Rhonda Robinson (Anthony), John Mathews, Levi Thomas, Megan Rowe (Lucas), Jessica Lederer (Jeremy), Lucas James, Tabitha Thomas and Lynn Baker. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
