He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hoover and Evelyn Hoover (Riegel); his wife Jane Hoover (Stanfield); his daughters, Rebecca Douglas (Matt) and Sara Benner (Daniel); his grandchildren, Emma, Adeline Douglas, Luke, Elizabeth and Caleb Benner; and his siblings, Steve Hoover (Diana) of Upper Sandusky, Tom Hoover (Gretchen) of Galloway, Kathy Sumner (William) of San Antonio, Linda Barth (Michael) of Upper Sandusky and Peggy England (Dean) of Upper Sandusky.

Memorials may be made in Larry's honor to the Jane Hoover Honduran Mission Memorial Fund at Trinity Evangelical Church, Upper Sandusky.
