He is survived by: his wife Neva Jean Larick; his children, John W. Thornton Jr. (Karla) of Foley, James A. Thornton (Debra) of Upper Sandusky, Judinna M. Rall (Donald) of Upper Sandusky and Jaleen S. Geiser (Fred) of Carey; and his siblings, Mickey, Paul, Lucy and Larry. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
