He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Barrett and Marilee Barrett (Fonner); his former wife Vanessa J. Craft; his wife Julie Huffman-Hawkins; his children, Bradley Barrett of Pittsburgh and Anna Guillozet (Garrett) of Worthington, Ohio.; his stepsons, Larry Hawkins (Maureen) of Harpster and Heath Hawkins (Layne) of Dover; his grandchildren, Graham Guillozet, Noah, Sampson Hawkins and David Hawkins; his siblings, Robert Barrett (Sherry), Gerald Barrett (Barbara), Peter Barrett (Joy), Barb Szopinski (Richard), Patricia Mehl (Tim), Mary Kellis, Margaret Glenn (Michael) and Carol Shepardson (Wayne); his brother-in-law Jack DeVries; and his sister Ellen DeVries. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
