He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Westerman and Matilda Westerman (Rusch); his wife Bess Mae Riley; his daughter Amy Sue Teeter; and his siblings, Robert Harry (Edna), Donald Ray (Virginia), Harley Edward (Geraldine), Harold Eldred (Jo), Norman Lee (Pat) and Lewis Eugene.
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Renee Bruegger (Bill) of Evansville, IN and Joseph James Westerman (Mardee) of Palmetto, FL; his son-in-law John Teeter (late Amy) of Ashland City, TN; and his grandchildren, Sarah Marie Bruegger, Jennifer Marie Austin (Chris), Megan Nicole Teeter, Jacob James Westerman and Garrett Marsden Westerman.
