It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Armstrong of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Armstrong and Carrie Armstrong (Boggs); his son James Steven Armstrong; his grandchildren, Ashley Kristina and Joseph Allen; and his siblings, Homer Armstrong, Edna Abbott, Eileen Howell, Shirley Armstrong, Marietta Muncey (Ret), Huey Cogan, Robert Armstrong, David Armstrong, Juanita Easter, Jean Godair, Karl Armstrong and Jode Armstrong.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Armstrong of Columbus, Katharine Studer (Dan) of San Francisco and David "Tony" Armstrong of Bucyrus; his grandchildren, Jason Spiegel, Josh Adams, Zachary Spiegel, Jordan Armstrong, Cody Armstrong and Maccie Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Mira, Madison, Waylon, Mollie, Wyatt, Hannah, Hailey, Heather, Logan, Leah, Ellie, Jameson, Callie, Peyton, Alekhy, Gavin, Fayth, Devon, Molly and Sophia; his brother George Armstrong (Sherry) of Wheelersburg, Ohio.; and also, Loretta Lee Sprouse and Francis Walton Haner. He is also survived by his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
