He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Piatt and Hazel Marie Piatt (Hutchinson); and his siblings, Betty, Delores, Carl, Ronnie and Harry.
He is survived by: his children, Denver Piatt of Marion, Steve Piatt (Julie) of Wyandot and Teresa Piatt-Grove (Bill) of Upper Sandusky; his grandchildren, Jennifer Perry (Michael), Sarah Butler (Bryce), Grace Piatt (Gage Fletcher), Lucas Rife (Ashton) and David Grove; his great grandchildren, Elliott and Kierra; and his brother Robert Piatt of Marion.
