He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Earl Sayre and Chloetta Mae Sayre (Miller); his sons, Scott Sayre and Matthew Sayre; his former wife Patricia Jo Ealey; and his siblings, Deborah Gerling, Delores Sayre, Jeffery Sayre, Kenny Sayre and Richard Sayre.
He is survived by: his sons, Cameron Sayre of Findlay, Zachary Sayre of Scottsdale and Dewayne Sayre (Angel) of Carey; his sisters, Marlene Clark of Kirby and Beth Ann Bodi (Dennis) of Upper Sandusky; and his stepson Bill Marguson (Shirley Clark) of Indiana. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bringman-Clark Funeral Home (226 E Wyandot Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
