He is survived by: his sons, Jeffery Bassler (Karen) of Upper Sandusky, Steven Bassler (Ava) of Upper Sandusky and James Bassler of Upper Sandusky; his grandchildren, Joshua Bassler (Christin) of Upper Sandusky, Matthew Bassler of Toledo and Stephanie Bassler of Upper Sandusky; his great grandchildren, Kyler Trent and Jacob Bassler; his sister Shirley Schrote of Nevada; and his close friend Ruth Patton of Toledo.
