He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McLaughlin and Bernice McLaughlin (Ludwick). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn J. Mick; his daughter Debra McLaughlin; and his grandchildren, Eric Zamora (Candace), Dayton, Trisha McClellan (Drew) and Amber.
