He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Deckler and Gladys Deckler (Kinn); his son-in-law Larry Schupe; and his siblings, Mary Rose Powell and Jimmy Deckler.
He is survived by: his spouse Sandy L. Reis; his children, Laurie Vent (Charlie), Dan Deckler (Susan Clark), Penny Schwanger (Chuck), Wooster of Julie Schupe, OK, Tammy Elchert (Dennis), Carey and Greg Deckler; and his brother Harry (Peg). He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.
