It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Shumaker of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, born in Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall H. Morris and Nola A. Morris (Young); her husband Richard P. Shumaker; and her siblings, Robert Morris, Richard Morris, Miriam Fagan and Shirley Ann Webster Rowland.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Shumaker of Upper Sandusky, Karen Shumaker of Upper Sandusky, Connie (Mike) of Upper Sandusky, Richard Shumaker (Theresa) of Upper Sandusky and John Shumaker of Upper Sandusky; her grandchildren, Amy Conway (Steve), Rachael Harding (Bobby), April Bohland (Nick), Crystal Smith (Rodney), Danielle Pagnard (Eric) and Tanielle Gelbaugh (Scott); and her siblings, James Morris (Donna), Donald Morris, Kenton and Colleen Karg. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
