She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Maurice Zox, MD and Florence Zox; and her brother Frederick Marx. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Arnold Deutchman; her daughters, Dr. Hallee Pivar and Emilee Deutchman-Blaschke of Jacksonville, FL; her son-in-law Brian Pivar; her grandson Maximilian Pivar; her sisters, Diana Marx Bloch of New Albany, OH, Barbara Zox Panzer of Austin, TX and Laurie Zox Leder of Denver, CO; and her brother-in-law Dr. Mark Deutchman, MD. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation in her honor, as well as the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.
