He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert K. "Deke" Edler M. D. and Gwendolyn Edler (VanHorn); his siblings, Marilyn Edler Underwood and Richard Edler; and his cousin Frank Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Aisel Edler; his children, Leslie Edler Miller (Don) and D. Morgan Edler (Elaine); his sister Sally Edler Scott; his grandchildren, Lauren Edler Souza (Colin), Andrew Edler and Lea Edler; and his great grandchildren, James, Brooks and Ellie Souza. He is also survived by many nephews, cousins and many special, loving friends.
