He was predeceased by: his former wives, Susan Grady and Susy Downey; and his brothers, Tom, Jr. and George. He is survived by: his children, Peter (Joyce), Joanie Dugger (Glen), Marty Sears (Lisa) and Peggy Sears (Rick); his grandchildren, Meaghan Minkus (Matt), Erich Igel, Sarah Jane Germain (Paul), Ted, Abigail Dugger, Maggie, Bonnie Igel, Will and Laura Sears; his great grandchildren, Leigh and Lucy Germain; his siblings, Judy Lehman (Jim) and Steve (Jeanne); and his close friend Ann Drake.
