He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa M. Karabinos (Sayer); his parents, George Sayer and Anne Karabinos Sayer (Benney); and his siblings, George "Square", Robert "Bob", Barbara "Babs" Karabinos and Pauline "Mitzi" Kauffman James.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Karabinos, Edward Karabinos (Colleen), Jane Karabinos, Thomas Karabinos, Lucy Markin and Steve Karabinos (Dawn). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name preferred to the Wounded Warrier Project.
