She is survived by: her sister Şükran Akbay; her children, Gulhan Kutlu, Filiz Kayali (Ibrahim) and Sinan "Tony" Kutlu (Michelle); her grandchildren, Aliya Rochowiak (Drew), Arin Kutlu and Taner Kutlu; and her great grandchild Cameron Rochowiak.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Fikret Kutlu's name.
