She was predeceased by: her mother Patricia Baatz Vandergrift; and her grandparents, Mark, Margaret Baatz, Michael Buchenic and Helen Majetich Buchenic (Martinko).
She is survived by: her father Richard Buchenic; her daughters, Kennedy Beebe and Lyla Beebe; the father of her children Mark Beebe; her pet Cornelius; her stepmother Mary Margaret Buchenic; her siblings, Becky Buchenic and John Buchenic (Silvia); her nephews, Tyler (Cami), Jack, Max and Leopold; her niece Ingrid; her great-niece Rosalie; and her stepfather Bob Vandergrift.
In late 2020 and early 2021, Chrys was proud to 'be back in scrubs' to work with a medical team for COVID related research.
