She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Werner Knapheide and Lillie Knapheide; her husband Byron H. Nolte; her daughters, Ann Albers (Mark) and Jan Ruma, Jr. (Pete); her grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas Albers and Monica Ruma; and her sister Judith Renken.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Riverside UMC Endowment Fund or the Nolte Scholarship Fund FABE at the Ohio State University Foundation.
