He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Eleanor; and his siblings, William, James and Mary Bongorno.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannie "Bean" Bongorno; his children, Theresa Bongorno, Mike Bongorno (Jocelyn) and Tina Bongorno (Will Evarts); his granddaughter Lucy; and his siblings, Rita Todd (Stephen), David (Roberta), Richard (Marylou) and John. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home (5252 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst, OH 44124). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Gesu (2470 Miramar Blvd, University Heights, OH 44118). A burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at the Lake View Cemetery (12316 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106).
