He was predeceased by: his sibling William D.. He is survived by: his spouse Helen R.; his children, John E. Jr., Timothy M. (Janet), Monica Joyce, Terence J. (Janice) and Martin D. Joyce (late Jill); his grandchildren, Michael, Caitlin, Brendan, Kevin Joyce, Eric Pittman, Brooke Bandy (Don) and Andrew Pittman (Kim); his siblings, Francis M. Joyce and Rose Mary Matejcik; and also Frederica Donie.
