He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clyde Gunn and Merle Gunn (McKinney); his wife Ruth Hefner; his daughters, Darlene Lee (Fred) of Wapakoneta and Melanie Avery (Todd) of Newark; his grandchildren, Jesse Dailey (Mandi), Branden Lee (Hannah Jo Hardesty), Zachary Avery (Savannah) and Briana Nelson; his great grandchildren, Trevor, Sydney, Cael, Ledger, Lennox, Emma and Oliver; his siblings, NonaSu Gonzales (Don) and Robert Thomas (Nadine); his nephews, Paul Thomas (Nikki) and Tommy Roby (Susan); and his niece Denay Whitaker (David).
