He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn M. Shaner (Metzger); and his brother-in-law Steve Rowe. He is survived by: his close friend Sonny; his spouse Jeanna (VanBuskirk); his in-laws, Jerry and Sharon Van Buskirk (Krock) of Belle Center; his children, Katherine Montague (Bennett), Daniel Shaner Jr., Gabriel Shaner and Abigail Shaner; his children-in-law, Kris Montague and Heather Rolfe-Shaner; his grandchildren, Raven, Lauryn, Shelby, Timmy, Maleah, Lilith, Wyatt, Sawyer, Lawsen, Wynter and Michael; his great grandchild Nevaeh; his father William E. Shaner; and his siblings, Linda, Steve, Judy Shaner (Wapak), William, Marie Shaner (Wapak), Lori and Paul Tucker (Shawnee).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help with expenses.
