She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Swartz; her parents, Ira Charles and Opal Charles; her siblings, Angeline Hafner and Melvin Charles; and her sons, David William and Steven Charles Swartz.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Eugene Swartz, Andrew Lee Swartz (Susan) and Hollis Haff (Karen). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Suffield United Church of Christ, 1115 OH-43, Mogadore, OH 44260, in memory of Vera.
