He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen and Lillian; his brother Richard "Dick" McEntee; and his grandson Andrew Stephen Peters. He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Lou Pisanelli, Elizabeth Gairing, Patti Clymer and Lannie Lorson; his children, Kelly McEntee (Angela), Stephen McEntee (Darlene), Lauri Hummel (Jon), Teri Peters (Bob), Meredith Sugar and Erin Lippe (Steve); his grandchildren, David (Colleen), Abbie, Olivia McEntee, Kati (Mason Offenberger), Ashley, Zachary Hummel, Ben (Debora), Matthew Peters, John "Jack", Luke, Jonah Knueve, Anna, Joseph "Hank" Sugar, Emily, Adam, Ryan and Joshua Lippe; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Peters and Riley Offenberger.
