He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton, Sr. Schindler and Edith Schindler (Dunkel); and his siblings, Darelle Collins, Clayton "Rock" and Schindler, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Audri Burgess (Phillip), Michelle Schindler, Laura Horn and Brandon Schindler; his stepdaughter Jill Flowers (Ryan); his granddaughters, Lilly, Marissa, LaKiyah and LaRayah; his sister Debby Short (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Jeannie Schindler and Leona Collins.
