She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boswell and Sarah Boswell (Lizzie); and her siblings, William G. Boswell, J. C. Boswell, Elizabeth Barrett, Minnie Lou McDowell and Dora Belle Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Mary (Jeff); her grandchildren, Ray (Marianne), Strause, Ami (John), Terranova, Kat (Jasen), Morgan, Carri (Mike) and Gibbs; her great grandchildren, Desirae, Emily, Maggie of Scott, J. J., Brooki, Blaize, Haiden, Lilli, Calli, Ty and Coltin; and her close friend Kathy Livak. She is also survived by seven great-great grandchildren.
She was a three time cancer survivor and actively participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
