He was predeceased by: his father John Edward Taylor; his daughter-in-law Jamie Taylor; and his nephew Taylor Jaren McGaffick. He is survived by: his mother Mary Louise Careway Taylor; his son John E. Taylor III; his sisters, Cindi Henry and Jeryl McGaffick (Fred); his nieces and nephews, Cara Halldin (Jesse), Janie Richardson (Derek), Zachary McGaffick and Kelby McGaffick; his friends, Jeff and April Azallion; and his pet Harley Sue.
