He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd R. Carpenter and Edna Y. Carpenter; and his siblings, Lowell Carpenter and Karen Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Janet Carpenter (Ammons); his children, Scott (Emily), David (Janine) and Amy Wolfe (Gary); his daughter-in-law Diann Carpenter; and his grandchildren, Robert Carpenter (Juliet), Megan Carpenter (Josh Danoff), Julia and Nicholas Wolfe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
