She was predeceased by: her husband Dan; her daughter Patrice; her parents, Harold Markel and Leota Markel; her brothers, Harold, Victor, Dick and Tim; and her brother-in-law Mike Kurty.
She is survived by: her daughters, P. J. Pelton (Keith) and Danial Watkins; her grandchildren, Miranda Pelton, Rodney Pelton and Keith Brown; her great grandchildren, Aryianna, Ava and Aaliyah; her sister Gloria Kurty; and her sisters-in-law, Mary and Edith Markel.
