He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Sommers and Lena Sommers (Wittmer). He is survived by: his wife Elva; and his children, Ruth Hershberger (Wes), Karen Schlabach (Roy), Cheryl Coblentz (Wayne), Donna Hochstetler (Marlin), Norma Miller (Lewis) and Steve Sommers (Sherry). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
