He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ely and Della Ely; and his siblings, Clyde Ely and Agnes Skaggs. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Ely; his children, Daryl (Gayle), David, Bryon (Cathy), Stephen (Cheryl) and Joseph (Tammy); his grandchildren, Brittany (James), Rachel, Anthony, Hannah, Ryan, Jordan, Alex and Dylan; his brother Arthur Ely (Bev); and his sister-in-law June Ely. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
