He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Austin and Alice Humberto Brawley Scott; his wife Nancy Scott; and his siblings, Ellinore Wallace and Wylie Scott.
He is survived by: his sister Martha Taylor; his sons, Jeffrey, Bruce (Rachel), Kevin and Douglas Scott (Julie); his grandchildren, Emily, Katie, Abby, Ever, Lillian and Christopher; and his pet Princess Annie.
