He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester T. Payton and Mary Durham (Jacobs); and his brothers, John Durham, Jr. and Gary Durham. He is survived by: his daughter Shelly Joyce (Mick); his grandchildren, Kobe, Mickaela and Elijah; and his sisters, Lana Alvarado of Union City, Indiana and Cheryl Nunez of Union City, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
