It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Sue Hobson Stemmer (Union City, Ohio), who passed away on July 13, 2018, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl L. Hobson and Delores E. Rush Hobson. She is survived by: her spouse Richard L. Stemmer of Union City; her children, Ryan Stemmer (Danielle) and Kathleen Brandenburg (Ryan); her grandchildren, Gavin Stemmer, Kaylee Mills, Gage Mills and Will Brandenburg; and her siblings, Ronald Hobson (Donna) of Cincinnati, David Hobson (Karla) of Economy, Sandra Hobson Casmey (Howard) of Vienna and Carol Hobson Christie (Ken) of Fishers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to the Union City Public Library or the Randolph County Art Association, or reading a good book and passing it along to a friend, or learning a new word and using it in conversation, or going for a walk and picking up litter along the way to make the world a more beautiful place, because Linda surely did.
