He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earnest and Rita Ann Zehringer (Fortkamp); his siblings, Paul, Ray, Gary Zehringer, Mary Ann Gibson and Linda Ridgeway; and his brother-in-law Chris Stucke.

He is survived by: his wife Tonia Zehringer (Graham); his children, Sharla Ann Zehringer, RaeLee (Tim Lewis), Sarah Jo (Mark Davis), Seth Joseph (Christie Zehringer), Nathan Robert (Deborah Zehringer), Kristen Mae (Troy Poling), Tyler Graham (Jennifer Nicole Zehringer) and Victoria Lynn (Morgan Gard); his siblings, Jim (Sharon Zehringer), Theresa (DJ Bisel), Margaret (Mike Thobe), Chuck (Lynn Zehringer), Nancy (Dean Darland), Jane (Jim Rammel), Barb Stucke and Dr. Dan Zehringer (Justin Mohler); his sisters-in-law, Gina, Lora, Brenda and Mickey; and also, Dave, Bobbi, Herb and Becky. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren: 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
