He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Butch" and Pamela Armstrong (Thompson); his father-in-law Terry E. Cady; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Dukes and Libby Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Armstrong (Cady); his children, Jess Riggs (Josh), Jeremy Ackerman (Ashley), Jaymie Gardner (Zac), Julie Downing (Nate), Janea' Croy (Brock), Jessica Dean (Todd), Jennifer Bales (Will), Joshua Armstrong (Julie) and Jacob Armstrong (Miranda); his grandchildren, Cadyn, Brextyn, Linkyn, Jaylyn, Caydee, Rileigh, Rylan, Carsen, Jase, Easton, Arianna, Ariston, Axton, Aliza, Alyssa and Little Brock; his mother-in-law Betty Cady; his siblings, Jeff Armstrong (Gina), Tim Armstrong, Brian Armstrong (Kathleen), Carolyn "Sissy" Armstrong-Dukes and Carl Armstrong (Cortney); and his friends, JC and Loretta Pinchek.
