He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cowgar and Madelyn Cowgar; his spouse Jackoline Mary McCreery; his daughter Mary Jane Lynn; his sister Shirley Cowgar; and his nephew Chuckie Cowgar.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Babarcik (Jerry), William Cowgar (Joyce) and Catherine Cowgar; his grandchildren, Heather Baker, Susan Bieterman (Rob), Jennifer Gray, Joe Babarcik, Dave Beeson and Dan Beeson; and his brother Charles Cowgar (Eileen). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
