It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vada Muriel Swain (Uhrichsville, Ohio), born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hicks and Nellie Hicks (Blanchard); her husband Carl Frederick Swain; her brother Melvin Hicks; her daughter-in-law Sharon Swain; and her granddaughter Kelly Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Poland (John), Linda Truax (Dave), Gerald Swain (Sharon), Mike Swain (Diane) and Bill Swain (Peggy). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
