He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Alexander and Viola Alice Smith (Smith); his brother Roger Lee Smith; and his brother-in-law Roy Halsey. He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Smith (Goedel); his children, Michael D. McWilliams (Bambi), Rodney A. Smith and Carissa Cleveland (Scott); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mason, Mallory McWilliams, Bryce, Addilynn Smith, Nicholas and Andrew Cleveland; and his sisters, Darlene Milburn (Randy) and Penny Halsey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
