He is survived by: his children, Michael Simpson (Michelle) of Zanesville, Ohio, Steve Simpson (Amy) of Dover Ohio, Jessica Newman of Newcomerstown Ohio, Ryan Simpson (Helen) of Zanesville Ohio, Rochelle Simpson of Newcomerstown and Dannette Bowers of Canton; and his siblings, Sharon Rogers (Zanesville), Tyrone (Brenda), Connie Alexander (Canton), Margo Simpson (Canton), Kim Malone Rebecca (South Carolina) and Barbara Simpson (New Philadelphia).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Paul AME Church (561 Pine St, Zanesville, OH 43701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
